Jenn Kramer, LCSW

My style of therapy is relational, warm, respectful, and oriented toward supporting change when it's needed. There's not one way to do therapy because it's tailored to your needs and goals. Therapy can be a safe place to talk through difficult things, a place to create plans to support behavior change, a place to develop communication and emotional IQ skills, a place to heal old relational wounds, a place to figure out how you want to navigate a difficult situation, a place to figure out who you are and who you want to be.

My current practice is focused on individual adults, parents of children with mental health concerns, and short-term work with young children (5-10 years old). I treat anxiety disorders and phobias, mood disorders, provide Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) coaching, and am also a certified meditation teacher. Professional interests include environmental and cultural influences on health. I welcome diversity in my practice including but not limited to body sizes, abilities, races, sexualities, genders, religions, and health statuses.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Social Work from UT Austin, where I also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology. I'm a local Austinite and enjoy time with my family and friends, listening to and playing music, being in nature, eating Mexican food, sometimes being quiet, sometimes being loud, & hanging out with my dog, Apple.
